Quando tornerete nelle vostre città

Cari studenti del Corso di Smart cities 2020, mi spiace non avervi conosciuto e, in alcuni casi, neanche avervi visto. Ho cercato lo stesso, tuttavia, di coinvolgervi come meglio ho potuto per interpretare al meglio, e lo stesso, il ruolo di tutor del Corso che mi è stato assegnato. Ho cercato di trasmettervi un po' di passione per gli argomenti che abbiamo trattato e alcune basi del pensiero giuridico che permeano la cattedra del Prof. Ziccardi in università, a partire dalla libertà -d'espressione, dal controllo e dalla sorveglianza- e dalla dignità. Abbiamo discusso del diritto ad essere sé stessi che, quando tornerete nelle vostre città, sono sicuro che ricorderete. Ho cercato di trasmettervi anche alcuni valori aclisti della mia formazione, abbiamo parlato a lungo del lavoro e, sul lavoro che andrete a fare, si giocherà il vostro e il nostro futuro.

Buon vento, allora, per tutti i 10 lavori che -dicono- andrete e andremo a fare nella nostra carriera lavorativa liquida. Ricordatevi sempre di essere stati studenti dell'Università degli Studi di Milano, che non è un fatto banale.

Mentre parlavamo di intelligenza artificiale, criptovalute e smart grids, abbiamo parlato di etica e vi ho raccontato alcune storie e alcune biografie. Siamo partiti dalla Città di Dio di Agostino, abbiamo concluso con l'alleanza delle città di La Pira, così che quando tornerete nelle vostre città, avremo ancora una volta -e per sempre- un modo per rimanere collegati. Un caro saluto e un ringraziamento, spero che queste parole vi trovino bene.

When you’ll return to your cities

Dear students of the Smart cities 2020 Course, I'm sorry I didn't know you and, in some cases, I didn't even see you. I have tried, however, to involve you as best I could to play the role of tutor of the Course I have been assigned. I tried to convey to you a little passion for the topics we have dealt with and some bases of legal thought that permeate Prof. Ziccardi's chair at the university, starting from freedom -of expression, from control and surveillance- and dignity.  We discussed the right to be ourself which, when you'll return to your cities, I am sure you will remember. I have also tried to transmit to you some Aclist values of my education, we have talked at length about the work and, on the work you are going to do, we will play your and our future.

Good wind, then, for all the 10 jobs that - they say - you will go and we will go to do in our liquid work career. Always remember that you were students at the University of Milan, which is not a trivial fact.

While we were talking about artificial intelligence, cryptovalues and smart grids, we talked about ethics and I told you some stories and some biographies. We started from Augustine's City of God, we concluded with the alliance of the cities of La Pira, so that when you'll return to your cities, we will have once again -and forever- a way to stay connected. A big greeting and thanks, I hope that these words find you well.
